Gold Note designed the T-5 for modern vinyl listeners: compact, shelf-friendly, and straightforward while keeping Italian build quality. Each T-5 is hand-assembled in Italy, not a badge-engineered product. Width is about 425 mm, so it fits typical hi-fi furniture.

The White finish is gloss lacquer on a 23 mm HDF plinth. Material is relieved around the motor, bearing, and edges to limit vibration reaching the platter. The 15 mm Ultra-Clear glass platter is the visual signature: clear edge, frosted top, unlike common black aluminum entry platters. Per Gold Note specs, wow/flutter is 0.3% and rumble -72 dB. A removable clear acrylic dust cover protects the record and arm when not in use.

B-5.2 tonearm and choosing a cartridge

T-5 ships with the B-5.2 (9″) arm: CNC aluminum, manual tracking force and anti-skate for each cartridge type. No stylus is included: you fit your choice (or ask District M to align it).

Belt drive, motor, and phono stage

T-5 uses an 18 V synchronous motor and EPDM belt. Switch between 33⅓ and 45 RPM by moving the belt to the correct pulley groove (manual, no push-button speed). Included PSU is 18 V DC (100-120 V 60 Hz / 220-240 V 50 Hz), max 3 W draw.

Output is phono-level RCA, not line level. In a Gold Note stack, pair with Gold Note PH-10 or PH-5; add PSU-5 when upgrading. MM cartridges also work with any amp that has an MM phono input.
